Goldie Hoffman is an actor, host and comedian. She hails from the small towns of Brooklyn, New York and Montreal, Canada. A dual ‘AmeriCanadian’ citizen she now calls both Los Angeles and Vancouver home.

After an atypical childhood in Brooklyn, NY, her family moved to Montreal, where she learned French and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University, double-majoring in History & International Studies, with a minor in languages. Upon graduation, she flirted with the idea of either broadcast journalism or human-rights law, applied and was accepted to law school -- however, she decided at the last second that life would be more fun on an unstable route, so she enrolled in theatre school in Vancouver instead. The rest, as they say, is history…

Goldie has been fortunate enough to find a way to combine her education with her passion, by working often as a host. She has hosted & emcee'd numerous live events as well as on television. Extremely versatile, and a real social chameleon, Goldie has hosted segments of all genres -- such as covering live events, film festivals, fashion week, interviewing known figures, interviewing the public, and travel & sporty adventure. Noted credits include Vancouver Television, Viewpoint and Tourism BC.

Also a trained professional actor, her acting work can be seen (almost) anywhere they’ll have her: from gracing the small and big screens of Hollywood, to those of obscure independent cinema to commercials; and live from theatre stages to tiny platforms in lil’ dives. Recent roles include playing the lead of Daphna in Vancouver's premiere production of the NY-hit dramedy play, Bad Jews, put on by Famous Artists Productions. You can catch her next as a forensic cop in an upcoming episode of Fox's new television series, Luficer, as well as a doctor in the upcoming Miramax Hollywood thriller, “The 9th Life of Louis Drax.”
